HR Services Workplace Diversity
Diversity refers to all of the characteristics that make individuals different from each other. These differences can include factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, or having a disability. Our province is becoming more diverse with more people from around the world moving here. As well, Aboriginal youth are the fastest growing demographic in the province. At the same time, more persons with a disability are moving into the workforce and contributing to our growing province. It is important that the Government of Saskatchewan reflects the diversity found in our province and that our policies, programs and frontline services are responsive and relevant to the people of the province. This website provides further information about diversity in the Saskatchewan public service and the measures we are using to ensure our workforce reflects our population. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
